I’m leaving for a domestic flight. Howm many bags can I carry and what weight am I allowed to take?

Number and weight of the checked bag is determined by the airline, class and destination, as reported on the  ticket. If the pieces and weight of your baggage exceeds the allowance you’ll have to pay an extra bag fee. Remember to tag your bags (also your hand bag) with your name, address and telephone number.

Hand baggage
You can carry on board one hand baggage (refer to your airline for size and weight required). In addition, you’re allowed to carry with you:

  • A handbag or briefcase
  • A camera, videorecorder, personal computer
  • A coat or a raincoat
  • Umbrella, or crutches or other articles to assist with walking
  • A portable infant cradle
  • Reading materials
  • Items purchased in the duty free shops.

Dangerous articles
For security reasons the transportation of any object that might be considered a weapon (knives, scissors, files) in the carry on baggage is strictly forbidden.

It is also forbidden the carriage in carry on and checked baggage of the following articles:

  • Document holders with alarm device
  • Underwater flashlight with inserted batteries
  • Explosives like fireworks and rockets
  • Torches
  • Pressurized gas (camping gas,irritenting gas, self defense spray)
  • Corrosive substances, such as acids,alkalis, mercury and batteries with liquid elements
  • Explosives and ammunitions
  • Flammable liquids and solids (lighters, matches, solvents)
  • Radioactive substances
  • Oxydating objects
  • Poisonous and infective substances (mercury, weedkillers, insecticides)
  • Magnetic items

Beware. The transportation of liquids is subject to severe restrictions.


And if I lose my luggage?
For lost luggage in airport, please contact the Handling Lost and found post in the arrival area or the ticket office.


Always remember to tag your checked luggage and hand bag with a name label filled in with your full name, address and telephone number.

Never leave your luggage unattended inside the terminal.
