As provided for by ENAC (the Civil National Aviation Agency) the company is achieving the Management and Handling certifications. The company operates in the management of the handling services, passenger, baggage and checked baggage security control, aviation and non aviation services, commercial operations, realizes and handles airport assets and infrastructures, also caring for their maintenance. Aeroporto S. Anna S.p.A. today owns a new passenger Terminal “Pitagora”, launched in 2003, structured for a traffic of 250.000 passengers/year. Its neat surface is about 4.000 square mt. It’s built on two levels: on the ground level of 2.200 square mt are a Snack bar, car rental boxes, newsagent, and other commercial assets, a central hall with some work of arts, arrival lounge and lost and found. A departure lounge with 3 gates, 6 check in counters, a ticket office and an information box, a first aid station and other passenger facilities; on the first level, about 1.800 square mt, are the Handling company offices, ENAC and Airline offices, other commercial assets, a restaurant and a conference hall accomodating 100 seats.
